The fish
Barakuda menggantung diam di atas terumbu seperti pisau terhunus, lalu menyambar umpan yang lewat dalam hitungan milidetik. Lompatan pertamanya biasanya langsung menunjukkan seberapa besar ukurannya — dan selalu lebih garang dari yang terlihat.
Sering menjadi tangkapan sampingan saat trolling dan juga target utama saat casting popper di mulut kanal.
