サンパランは、ヌサペニダ島北岸に位置する伝統的な港で、主にバリ島パダンバイからの公共フェリーが利用されています。スピードボートよりも料金が安く、現地の暮らしを感じられるローカル色豊かな港です。
港の周辺には島のメインマーケットや行政中心地があります。
