The fish
犬牙金枪鱼栖息在礁盘骤降入深海的断崖地带，并充分利用这种地形。它们常在铁板下沉过程中于半水层突然咬口，然后掉头直冲礁壁。中鱼的很多，真正成功上岸的却不多——这正是它的魅力所在。
巴厘岛东北海岸的深海峭壁以及佩尼达岛（Penida）外海的断崖带，都是经典的犬牙金枪鱼钓场，通常在 60–150 metres 的深度使用重型垂直铁板作钓。
Angler's notes
- 粗前导线绝非可选——它锋利的牙齿名副其实。
- 中鱼初期必须强力压制；一旦让它冲起来钻礁，基本无解。
- 在高压钓场，慢抽铁板（slow-pitch jigs）往往更有效。
