Gili Terawangan is the largest and most popular of the three Gili Islands, located off the northwest coast of Lombok. Known for its vibrant nightlife, stunning beaches, and world-class snorkeling and diving, Gili T is a must-visit destination in Indonesia.
Fast boats to Gili Terawangan depart daily from multiple harbors across Bali and Lombok. The journey typically takes between 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on your departure point and sea conditions. Most operators offer comfortable seating, life jackets, and luggage storage on board.
Upon arrival at Gili Terawangan, you will find no motorized vehicles on the island. Transport is by bicycle or horse-drawn cidomo carts, making it a uniquely peaceful tropical paradise despite its lively social scene.
