The Gili Gede to Bangsal fast boat is a stop on Gili Getaway's daily Bali–Lombok rotation, with one departure a day on the current schedule: 10:15 from Gili Gede, arriving Bangsal at 12:30, a crossing of 2h 15m. The boat calls at Senggigi, Gili Trawangan, Gili Air along the way — the 10:15 departure and 12:30 arrival are the times at your own piers.
Gili Gede is the largest of the Sekotong islands off Lombok's south-west tip — a handful of resorts, dive boats and mangrove shoreline, with none of the crowds of the northern Gilis. Check-in closes 60 minutes before the 10:15 departure.
Bangsal is Lombok's public harbour for the Gili islands — a working jetty where local boats, fast boats and horse carts share the waterfront, about 90 minutes by road from Lombok's airport.
