Gili Gede is the largest of the Sekotong islands off Lombok's south-west tip — a handful of resorts, dive boats and mangrove shoreline, with none of the crowds of the northern Gilis. Check-in closes 60 minutes before the 10:15 departure.
Bangsal is Lombok's public harbour for the Gili islands — a working jetty where local boats, fast boats and horse carts share the waterfront, about 90 minutes by road from Lombok's airport.
