The fast boat from Serangan Harbor to Bangsal links south Bali with Lombok's main harbour for the Gili islands. Serangan Harbor sits on Denpasar's south-east coast — roughly 20 minutes by car from Sanur and 30 from Ngurah Rai airport, with a sheltered jetty inside the Serangan island causeway. Be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure.
Bangsal is Lombok's public harbour for the Gili islands — a working jetty where local boats, fast boats and horse carts share the waterfront, about 90 minutes by road from Lombok's airport.
