Gili Gede is the largest of the Sekotong islands off Lombok's south-west tip — a handful of resorts, dive boats and mangrove shoreline, with none of the crowds of the northern Gilis. Check-in closes 60 minutes before the 10:15 departure.
Gili Air's jetty lands you a short walk from the east-coast strip; there are no cars on the island, only bicycles and horse carts.
