The fish

セイルフィッシュは潮目に沿ってベイトの群れを追い、アタック時にはネオンブルーに輝きます。フッキングするとファイトの半分は空中戦となり、テールウォークや高速ジャンプを繰り返しながら水しぶきを上げます。

マカジキよりライトタックルで狙えるため、初めてのビルフィッシュにも最適です。群れがルアースプレッドに入ればダブルヒットも珍しくありません。

Angler's notes

  • バイト直後は少し送り込んでから合わせましょう。セイルフィッシュはエサを叩いてから食い込むことがあります。
  • 写真撮影は魚を水中に保ったまま行いましょう。ビル（吻）を支えて、決して持ち上げないでください。
  • 丁寧にリリースすれば、数秒で力強く泳ぎ去ります。
