キハダは島々の間にあるディープチャネルを回遊し、冷たい湧昇流によってベイトフィッシュが溜まるエリアを狙います。ヒットすれば最初のランで100m以上ラインを引き出され、その後は粘り強い円を描くようなファイトが続きます。
ロンボク海峡はインドネシア屈指の安定したマグロ回遊ルート。海況が穏やかになる5月から9月がベストシーズンです。
