The fish
Doggies leben dort, wo das Riff in die Tiefe abfällt – und sie nutzen es. Der Biss kommt im Absinken des Jigs, dann dreht der Fisch ab und schießt zur Kante. Mehr Doggies gehen verloren als gelandet werden – genau das ist der Reiz.
Die Steilwände im Nordosten Balis und die Drop-offs von Nusa Penida sind klassisches Hundszahn-Revier. Gefischt wird mit schweren Vertical-Jigs über 60–150 metres.
