Bangsal Harbor is the traditional gateway to the Gili Islands from Lombok. Located on Lombok's northwest coast, this local harbor offers the most affordable boat connections to Gili Trawangan, Gili Air, and Gili Meno via public boats and private charters.
While more basic than Bali's modern terminals, Bangsal provides an authentic Indonesian port experience and is the choice for budget travelers.
Getting to Bangsal
Bangsal is located approximately 35km north of Mataram:
- From Lombok Airport: 1.5-2 hours by car
- From Senggigi: 30-40 minutes north
- From Mataram: 45 minutes via coastal road

- Charter boats: Rp 350,000-450,000 per boat (immediate departure)
