About Serangan Harbor
Serangan Harbor, located on Turtle Island (Pulau Serangan) south of Denpasar, is a growing fast boat terminal offering an alternative to the busier Sanur port. Connected to mainland Bali by a causeway, Serangan provides convenient access for travelers staying in southern Bali tourist areas.
The harbor has developed rapidly in recent years with modern facilities and a growing number of boat operators.

Fees
- Denpasar’s regulation sets the port entry pass at Rp 2,500 per person. The city transport office has run the port since June 2024.
Check-in
- Gili Getaway asks you to be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure; its boats leave on time.
Boarding
- Gili Getaway carries normal luggage free; surfboard bags cost Rp 100,000 (single) or Rp 200,000 (multi-board) per journey. BlueWater allows two bags up to 25 kg in total.
Getting there
- Serangan is about 30–40 minutes by road from Kuta or the airport in normal traffic, and BlueWater recommends it if you are staying in south Bali.
Facilities
- After check-in you wait in the port’s waiting area until boarding is called. Toilets and small food stalls are at or near the harbour.
