  • Denpasar’s regulation sets the port entry pass at Rp 2,500 per person. The city transport office has run the port since June 2024.

Check-in

  • Gili Getaway asks you to be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure; its boats leave on time.

Boarding

  • Gili Getaway carries normal luggage free; surfboard bags cost Rp 100,000 (single) or Rp 200,000 (multi-board) per journey. BlueWater allows two bags up to 25 kg in total.

Getting there

  • Serangan is about 30–40 minutes by road from Kuta or the airport in normal traffic, and BlueWater recommends it if you are staying in south Bali.

Facilities

  • After check-in you wait in the port’s waiting area until boarding is called. Toilets and small food stalls are at or near the harbour.

Check-in

  • Gili Getaway asks you to be at the dock at least 30 minutes before departure; Semaya One recommends arriving an hour early with your ID or passport.

Getting there

  • Bangsal is a stop for Gili Getaway, Semaya One, Wijaya Buyuk and Eka Jaya boats from Bali. Cars park at the Bangsal Type B land terminal, which the provincial transport office reorganised in November 2025.

Good to know

  • Touts and unofficial sellers work around Bangsal; buy boat tickets only at the official ticket office.
  • The Padangbai harbourmaster suspends Bali–Lombok fast boats when high waves are forecast in the Lombok Strait, as happened in February 2025, July 2025 and March 2026.
