Eka Jaya runs the fast boat from Nusa Dua in south Bali to Banjar Nyuh on Nusa Penida. On the schedule shown it sails every day of the week in the morning, and the crossing takes about 45 minutes, so you land with the whole day ahead of you.
You board at Eka Jaya's own harbour on the Tanjung Benoa peninsula, which the operator opened in 2026 as its second Bali departure point alongside Padang Bai. Check-in opens one hour before departure and closes 30 minutes before; passengers who arrive late are not boarded or refunded. Each passenger may bring two bags, up to 25 kg in total.
Boats land at Banjar Nyuh, Nusa Penida's main government port (officially Toyapakeh), which has a concrete jetty and floating pontoons. Operators use different harbours on the island and Eka Jaya lands here, so give Banjar Nyuh to your driver as the meeting point.
Drivers and scooter rentals wait at or near the harbour, so you can sort out onward transport when you arrive or book it before you sail.
Foreign visitors pay a one-off Nusa Penida area levy under Klungkung Regulation 4/2026; Indonesian visitors do not. Since 1 September 2026 every visitor also pays a charge at each covered tourist site on the island. Pay the area levy at the harbour ticket counters, where cash is preferred, or in advance on atixbali.com, where tickets are valid only for the date you choose; at Banjar Nyuh the e-ticket barcode is scanned on arrival.
